Does this range of duties appeal to you?

As an Account Manager you focus on the one hand on maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers and on the other hand you also expand the customer portfolio.You map out the needs of your customers and prospects and offer customized solutions based on this needs analysis. Your goal? To convince the client to have their projects executed by Tectum Dekkers! 

You will advise clients and promote the services Tectum Dekkers can offer. You will do this in close consultation with the Business Unit Managers and the project leaders of Tectum Group.

Your playing field is mainly in the province of Hainaut & Namur. You will focus on the new construction sector with a focus on Class 8 contractors, architects, building owners and engineering firms....

Thanks to your strong networking and negotiating skills, you succeed in closing deals taking into account the predefined margins and sales targets.You continuously keep your finger on the pulse and gather knowledge of the market, customers and prospects.

Do you recognize yourself in the following points?

  • Technical commercial talent: You have at least 5 years of experience in technical sales in the construction industry. Construction knowledge is a must.
  • Language skills: You have a very good knowledge of French. Dutch is an asset.
  • Long-term vision: you stand for building lasting relationships with your customers and prospects
  • Strong communicator: you are a strong negotiator and have the power of persuasion
  • Numerically strong: you make construction cost calculations yourself or are willing to master this process

Who are you working with?

  • Commercial director: You will report directly to the commercial director
  • Business Unit Manager: You work closely with the Business Unit Manager of the Charleroi site. You discuss the possible technical solutions and the returns of the project.
  • Project Team: You will ensure a correct and complete site handover, ensuring that no appointments made with the client are lost.
  • Customer: you build a good relationship with the customer and you are a reliable and accessible point of contact.
