A ventilated facade is a facade system in which an air cavity is provided between the exterior finish (e.g. panels, stone or wood) and the insulation layer. This air circulation prevents moisture problems, improves thermal performance and extends the life of the facade. Thanks to the free choice of materials and finishes, a ventilated facade combines technical durability with an aesthetic result.
