In our production workshop in Genk, EPDM solutions are cut to size, roof and facade materials are sawn according to technical plans, and zinc and other metals are folded for custom finishing.

To strengthen our team and support our continued growth, we are looking for a production team leader who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the production team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organization, and bringing structure to the team. You will ensure that production orders are carried out correctly, safely, and on time, with a constant focus on quality, efficiency, and collaboration. You will be present on the work floor and act as the central link between the customer, production, and logistics.

A selection of your tasks:

• You draw up the production schedule and adjust it if there are changes or urgent orders (sawing, bending, EPDM cutting). You determine the priorities based on deadlines, capacity, and material availability.
• You will manage and lead a production team of five employees. This involves assigning tasks, following up on them, and providing support where necessary. You will also ensure that new employees feel welcome.
• You ensure that quality standards are met, while always monitoring safety, order, and tidiness (5S), which are crucial in a production environment. You identify any deviations or issues and try to resolve them.
• You monitor the availability of materials and tools and maintain contact with external technicians during maintenance and malfunctions.
• You consider improvement processes and innovative working methods and report on progress, bottlenecks, and points for attention.

That is why we are looking for an experienced driver C with truck-mounted crane who will help us promote our quality and service on the road and on site.

Your duties

As a driver with truck-mounted crane, you play an important role in our logistics chain and make a direct contribution to the smooth running of our construction sites. Your trips go to different sites per day in the region of Limburg, Flemish Brabant and Kempen.Your tasks follow a clear flow:

• For the works
  You deliver roof and facade materials in function of a smooth site start-up. Timing and precision are crucial here.
• During the worksYou ensure the phased supply of materials according to the progress of the site. You load and unload with the truck-mounted crane in an efficient and safe manner, placing everything where it is needed. Also on the roof up to 28 m high
• After work
  You will help clean up the worksite and collect waste or residual materials, ensuring that everything is left clean and tidy.

On site, you are in close contact with both the Tectum Group foreman and the client. You clearly agree on site where and when materials need to be unloaded so that the work can proceed smoothly.
Once back in the branch, you pass on relevant information to the project management: delivery details, remarks from the site or points of attention for the next trips.Naturally, you always work safely and strictly follow the applicable safety instructions - both on the road and on the site.

Certification & quality assurance:

• You ensure that documentation and products are always up to date and comply with regulations.

Collaboration & communication:

• You will work closely with the marketing department to prepare and update commercial and technical documentation.
• You will also work closely with the sales department when it comes to commercial needs, product positioning, and customer feedback.
• You will support the Technical Support department with questions about the BossCover range or its application.

Market analysis & strategy:

• You monitor market trends, competition, and technological developments within the roofing and facade sector.
