Six dak en gevel by Tectum is located in Roeselare and is known in the roofing sector as the renovation expert for both sloping and flat roofs. We have everything in-house from the more traditional activities (lead, copper, zinc and (natural) slates,...) to the more contemporary techniques to offer our clients a professional renovation. References? Think of the Izba restaurant in Pairi Daiza, the St. Martin's Church in Kortrijk, the Royal Observatory in Uccle or the Cinquantenaire in Brussels. Six by Tectum focuses here mainly on the market of public tenders and large(er) B2B projects. To sustain our growth we are looking for a:

Account Manager


What will you do?

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining lasting relationships with existing customers and further expanding our customer portfolio. You analyze the needs of clients and prospects, and offer customized solutions. Your goal is to convince clients to have their projects executed by Six by Tectum.


You will advise clients on the services of Six by Tectum in close collaboration with the Business Unit Managers and project leaders. You focus on the renovation sector and mainly on public institutions and building owners in Roeselare and surroundings. With your strong networking and negotiating skills, you know how to close deals while respecting predetermined margins and sales targets. Thanks to your technical knowledge and background, you can make the most complicated matters clear to your interlocutors. You stay informed about developments within the market, customers and prospects.


Who will you work with?

  • You will report directly to the Commercial Director.
  • You will work closely with the Business Unit Manager of the Roeselare site to discuss possible technical solutions and project efficiencies.
  • You will ensure correct and complete handover to the project team to ensure that all agreements with the client are met.
  • You will build strong relationships with customers and serve as a trusted point of contact.



Do you recognize yourself in this?

  • You are a technical commercial talent with at least 5 years of experience in technical sales within the construction industry and have construction knowledge.
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch; knowledge of French is desirable as your customers are also across the (language) border.
  • You have a long-term vision and strive to build lasting customer relationships.
  • You communicate strongly, are a persuasive negotiator and have persuasive skills.
  • Numbers are not a problem for you: you make construction cost calculations or are willing to learn this.
