As part of the Tectum Group , Tectum DSB is a specialist in (re)construction projects with a focus on flat roofs and pitched roofs, liquid waterproofing and facade. Here the expertise lies on large, complex buildings for professional customers and B2B.


Does this range of duties appeal to you?

  • As a people manager, your main job is to coach and lead your team of three project managers, an administrative team, about 40 roofers and about a handful of subcontractors. With your eye for their talents and skills, you'll help take them to the next level.
  • Thanks to your operational helicopter view, you maintain an overview of your branch's site portfolio. Together with the project team, you ensure that the preparation, organization and execution of projects runs smoothly.
  • You ensure that revenue and margin targets are met. Moreover, you monitor the KPIs on a monthly basis and take the necessary measures based on this data to achieve the targets. You keep your finger on the pulse by performing thorough post-calculations.
  • Moreover, you are also responsible for creating and maintaining a good relationship with the customer. Thanks to your problem-solving ability, you always manage to create a win-win situation for both parties.


Do you recognize yourself in the following points?

  • You have a higher degree, preferably in an economic or technical field
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a management position in the construction industry
  • You have technical knowledge of roof and facade
  • You are a fluent communicator: you have excellent communication skills and know better than anyone how to convey information in an understandable way
  • You have a strong economic vision and are able to translate a strategy into concrete actions
  • You act customer-focused with a long-term vision and continue to surprise with your solutions
  • You are a linguist and can express yourself fluently in both Dutch and French (Tectum DSB is located in Woutersbrakel, Walloon Brabant, so 80% French-speaking)

Who are you working with?

  • Business Unit Director: you will report directly to the Business Unit Director. You will meet weekly to closely monitor ongoing issues.
  • Project team: you lead a team of 3 project leaders. You form a (h)real team, learn from each other and help each other where necessary.
  • Administrative clerks: together with the administrative clerks, you go over all kinds of matters concerning personnel and site administration and maintain a good overview of purchase and sales invoices.
  • Account manager: you ensure intensive interaction with the sales department. Together you will look at the feasibility of the planning and returns that are set in advance.
  • Client: you will build a good relationship with the client and be a point of contact during the execution of the project.
  • Management: you will work with management on operational continuity and participate in management meetings.
