For our headquarters in Genk we are looking for a Finance Business Partner who forms the bridge between Finance and our operational Business Units.

Your duties:
- You support new activities and carefully monitor ongoing projects
- You monitor the profitability of our activities and make substantiated forecasts for future projects
- You participate in the preparation and follow-up of the annual budget
- You monitor risks, report clearly to the business and provide advice that helps teams make decisions
- You provide transparent reporting to management and other relevant stakeholders
- You prepare the internal reports and discuss them constructively with the Business Units
- You support various controlling tasks and think about improvements
- You will be a connecting link between Business, IT, Finance, HR and other internal partners
- You will participate in ad hoc projects around innovation within both Business and Finance
- You manage he forecasting process: gather information, adjust and ensure timely follow-up
- You take responsibility for Finance-related projects that you roll out from A to Z
- You will visit our sites in Belgium on a regular basis to stay connected with the teams
Do you recognize yourself in the following points:
- You have a higher degree in an economic or financial field
- You express yourself fluently in Dutch and feel comfortable conversing with French-speaking colleagues (our offices are located throughout Belgium)
- You work purposefully and take into account what teams need to achieve targets
- You take a proactive approach, identifying risks in a timely manner and ensuring that deadlines remain achievable
- You couple financial acumen with a good understanding of operational realities, for example, the impact of project delays
- You take responsibility for your assigned projects and plan your work carefully and feasibly
- You analyze figures thoroughly, explain deviations and formulate proposals for adjustment
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office and notions of ERP packages and reporting tools
Who are you working with?
- The CEO, your direct supervisor
- The CFO, who along with the CEO helps shape financial policy
- Colleagues within our Business Units such as managers, administrative staff and finance teams External partners such as auditors, banks and suppliers
- Stakeholders within Tectum Group, including the Board of Directors
