For our headquarters in Genk we are looking for a Finance & Governance Partner who will serve as the bridge between our parent holding company, Biesmans Group, and our operating subsidiaries, Tectum Group, RoofYou Belgium, and RoofYou Netherlands.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities cover four areas: finance, governance & legal, HR, and IT.
Financial:
- You will establish and maintain a standardized financial and analytical reporting structure and monitor financial flows
- You will oversee the group’s consolidation, audit, filing of financial statements, and closing process
- You will initiate and perform operational financial analyses
- You manage and optimize banking relationships and the financing structure
- You actively manage the flow of financial and legal documents
- You will provide support in the preparation, review, and approval of the budget at the group level and at the holding company level
- You serve as an internal partner to CEOs and CFOs in the areas of process optimization and controlling
- You identify internal control and process risks
Governance & Legal:
- You are responsible for the financial preparation of Board of Directors meetings at the group level, and you provide support and take minutes during Board of Directors and Audit Committee meetings
- You will manage external experts: tax specialists, consultants, lawyers, etc.
- You will actively manage our M&A processes and equity readiness—including preparation, negotiations, due diligence, data rooms, investor relations, legal matters, and more…
- You will be building a shared knowledge and reporting system across the group
- You play an active role in the governance and management of our real estate division
HR:
- You report on and analyze relevant metrics
- You will develop and oversee the compensation policy at the C-level
- You oversee the corporate culture across the various subsidiaries
IT:
- You will maintain an overview of the various IT systems, architecture, and physical infrastructure
- You analyze the process and follow the data structure
- You will oversee our overarching security and AI policies
- You manage costs
Who do you work with:
- The Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors, who is also your supervisor
- Internal and external stakeholders within the Biesmans Group, including the Board of Directors
- The CEOs of our subsidiaries, who have full autonomy over their respective holding companies
- The CFOs of our subsidiaries, who work alongside the CEOs to shape financial policy
Do any of the following points sound familiar to you?
- You have a college degree in economics or finance
- You have a strong background in finance
- Experience in consolidation, internal control, and financial structures is a huge plus
- You feel at ease in a boardroom
- You exude maturity and can handle confidential financial information
- You have strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and feel comfortable conversing with French-speaking colleagues (our offices are located throughout Belgium)
- You are willing to travel regularly to our subsidiaries in Belgium and the Netherlands. Your base of operations is Genk
- You thoroughly analyze data, identify discrepancies, and provide recommendations for corrective action
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office and some familiarity with reporting tools
