Sales Development Manager
Your duties:
- You analyze the market, results, solutions,... and continuously recognize market needs and opportunities
- You respond to current and future market needs
- You identify the needs of your customers and prospects and offer an appropriate solution.
- You will build lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
- You represent Tectum Group at company and industry related events. During these events you actively provide information on new techniques, methodologies, materials and business opportunities.
- You will prepare construction cost calculations on your own with a focus on roofing work.
- You will gather knowledge about customers, products and competitors to enable Tectum Group Group to respond to current and future market needs.
Who are you working with?
- Commercial Director: You will report directly to the Commercial Director .
- Business Unit Managers: You work closely with the BUMs of the different branches. You discuss possible technical solutions and project returns.
- Project Team: You ensure a correct and complete site handover ensuring that no appointments made with clients are lost.
- Client: You build a good relationship with the customer and you are a reliable and accessible point of contact.
Do you recognize yourself in the following points?
- You have a higher degree or already have relevant experience in a technical role within the construction industry.
- Preferably have a minimum of 5 years experience in a sales environment along the contractor side.
- You work fluently with common Office 365 applications and have experience with an ERP package
- You are a strong communicator with the power of persuasion.
- You have a strong numerical understanding and can easily analyze large amounts of data.
- You can multitask fluently and organize your activities with attention to quality and detail.
- Given that the headquarters of Tectum Dekkers is in Hoboken (Antwerp), you will often start or end your day from there.
