  • As a true people manager, you coach and lead a team of 5 account managers and 2 calculators. With your eye for their talents and skills, you help them reach a higher level. You guide and support them in achieving KPIs and sales objectives.
  • You are ultimately responsible for development, coordination and execution of your team's technical and cost calculations. You also roll up your own sleeves and provide support with the calculations when needed.
  • With your hands-on mentality, you will help build results by also focusing yourself on maintaining and building lasting relationships with our key accounts within the new construction market with Class 8 contractors, architects, building owners and engineering firms as end customers.
  • You identify their needs and offer customized solutions based on this needs analysis. Thanks to your strong negotiation skills, you succeed in closing deals taking into account the predefined margins and sales targets.
  • You monitor customer satisfaction and actively participate in external networking. You keep your finger on the pulse and thus gather knowledge of the market, customers and prospects.
  • Finally, you ensure correct reporting of figures and results to internal stakeholders.

  • Technical commercial talent: thanks to your experience in selling construction projects to contractors, engineering firms and architects, this sector holds no secrets for you.
  • A passion for engineering and numbers: You have a master's degree in an economics or construction field or equivalent through experience.
  • An inspiring people manager: you can look back on several years of experience leading an experienced team. You take on a coaching role and enjoy challenging and motivating your employees.
  • Language Skills: You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of French.
  • Results-oriented: You are motivated by achieving results.
  • Long-term vision: You stand for building lasting relationships with your customers, prospects and employees.
  • Strong communicator: you are a strong negotiator and have the power of persuasion
  • Administratively and numerically strong: you can make construction cost calculations yourself or are willing to master this process. Moreover, you watch over the correct execution of the commercial administrative flow and adjust where necessary.
Who are you working with?
  • Commercial Director: you will report directly to the commercial director
  • Business Unit Managers and operational management: You will work closely with the Business Unit Managers of the different branches of Tectum Group. You discuss possible technical solutions and project returns. In addition, you are responsible for a correct and complete site handover so that none of the appointments made with the customer are lost.
  • Customer: you build a good relationship with the customer and you are a reliable and accessible point of contact.
