A behind-the-scenes look at roofing training
Written by

Tectum Group and PCVO are joining forces to address the demand for roofers. This results in a roofing training program for anyone interested, whether you are looking for work or considering a career switch. Led by experienced instructor Raf Mulkers, trainees complete 4 weeks of intensive practical training, followed by 2 weeks of internship with fellow roofers. If the course is successful, they will have a chance of a permanent contract.

Raf, a seasoned professional in the roofing industry, shares his expertise with enthusiasm and patience. What makes this training extra special is the diverse composition of participants, ranging from refugees to even ex-convicts.

One of the students, Said Aiman from Syria, shares his experience. Despite not yet having a full command of the Dutch language, he navigates effortlessly thanks to Raf's clear demonstrations and explanations.
Said: "I like to work with my hands and I am not afraid of heights. I hope to work as a roofer after this training."

But why should you actually choose a career as a roofer?

‍First ofall, it offers a lot of outdoor work, which is good for your resistance. In addition, it takes you to different locations and you perform various tasks, so the job never becomes monotonous. Moreover, roofers are rewarded with an attractive salary and there are numerous growth opportunities within this industry.

So, do you want a 'job with a view' then click here.
