Great interest in debate on circular flat roofs
Written by

The circular future is a cooperation between different parties. At Tectum Group, we want to play a pioneering role. With this in mind, we organized a debate on circularity and circular flat roofs on Thursday, March 2. With 70 participants in the hall and another 160 guests online, the debate was a great success. It confirmed the interest in sustainable construction and gives us the confidence to continue working towards a circular future.

For the debate, we brought together 7 construction experts to discuss the following questions:

  • How can circularity be promoted in construction?
  • How can we apply circularity in today's architecture, especially in the context of flat roofs?
  • What are the standards for circularity?

Review the entire debate below.

Arguments that have stuck with us for choosing circular construction:

  • Higher residual value of the building
  • Will become mandatory in European regulations over time
  • Circular construction is more profitable in the long run
  • Existing buildings play a societal role and add value to a city and its environment
