For waterproofing, we deliberately chose the BossCover Circular System, an innovative and circular flat roof system. This premium own brand within the Biesmans Groupwhich was launched in 2023, was supplied by CPE and offers a sustainable solution for roof renovations and new construction.
To better acquaint our colleagues from different departments - from clerical staff to project leaders and managers - with the system, we invited them to install it themselves.
This initiative had three goals:
✔ Gain experience with the system to strengthen our expertise.
✔ Experience firsthand how easy the installation is, which helps with future consulting and sales.
✔ Strengthen cooperation between the different teams within Tectum Group.
Of course, during the installation we were expertly supported by the technical team of BossCover.
What makes this project really special is that we focused not only on waterproofing, but on a fully circular roof structure. For the insulation, we used reclaimed insulation - insulation material that has served before and still has an excellent insulation value.
This PUR insulation was dismantled last year by Tectum Dekkers Brussels during the renovation of the roof of the Flemish Administrative Center in Mechelen. In collaboration with Buildwise, the sheets were tested for their insulation value and then stored at RoofYou. Now they are being reused, fully in line with the highest step of the Ladder of Lansink: reuse instead of recycling.
Our Tectum Dekkers Brussels site is currently undergoing a thorough renovation. This project is nearing completion, and a few weeks ago an important milestone was reached: the installation of a new, sustainable roof on one of the warehouses.

A semi-intensive green roof will be installed on top of the waterproofing, which not only provides additional insulation, but also contributes to better water management and biodiversity. On top of that will be solar panels, which will generate renewable energy for our Brussels site.
This project is a great example of internal cooperation within the Biesmans Group:
✅ CPE supplied the roofing materials.
✅ BossCover supported the installation.
✅ Tectum Group took care of the installation.
We are extremely proud of this sustainable realization and the strong cooperation between our companies!
