Varso Place

Flat roofs

The tallest building in the European Union

Varso Place offers 145,000 square meters of space, the equivalent of more than 20 football fields. The Varso Tower, designed by Foster + Partners, is the tallest skyscraper in the European Union. At the end of February 2021, it reached a height of 310 meters, including the spire. It has several thousand glass facade panels and work was completed at the beginning of 2022.

More than just buildings

HB Reavis invests in real estate development and management, reshaping the surrounding space as skyscrapers rise. The objective is to enhance the neighborhood appeal, increase green spaces, and improve safety. Additional crosswalks, signage and streetlights have been installed to make the area more accessible.

Logistical challenge

According to Mariusz Filipkowski, Project Manager at Tectum Group, the execution of the work was a logistical challenge from the very beginning. Coordinating all aspects of the process, from procurement to execution, was a demanding logistical task. However, after more than 2 years of work, Filipkowski proudly asserts that they have successfully met this challenge.

Work at the highest level

Tectum Group's execution team was involved not only in the construction of the tallest skyscraper, Varso Tower, but also on Varso 1 and Varso 2. Each of these construction sites was treated as separate sites. Thus, the focus was not only on the construction of a spectacular skyscraper, but also on the other construction sites. The collaboration with the HB Reavis staff was very successful. We look forward to future collaborations.

Top project

Piotr Szymczyk, General Director of Tectum Group Poland, points out that a project like Varso Place is a big step forward for the entire company: "Varso Place is being talked about everywhere. In the press, on the Internet, on the radio and even on TV. It is a spectacular project that will soon become a real eye-catcher in Warsaw. The investor's trust in us is very important for us and proves that we have gained sufficient status. It confirms that the quality of what we deliver is at the highest level, just like the Varso Tower.
