The base was formed by a liquid PMMA waterproofing, applied directly to the concrete subfloor. Thanks to its seamless nature and high wear resistance, PMMA is particularly suitable for parking roofs that have to support both traffic and pedestrian comfort.
To make the circulation clear and well-organized, colored parking spaces and colored speed bumps were integrated into the finish. These color zones, like the rest of the system, are constructed with a two-component top coat that ensures durability, safety, and a uniform aesthetic.
In the inner area between the Acerta and Randstad buildings in Leuven, Tectum Group constructed Tectum Group PMMA roof parking facility that adds value both functionally and aesthetically. The project combines intensive use by vehicles with a pleasant, safe environment for employees, as the inner area also serves as a lunch and relaxation area.
