Een architecturaal monument met een rijke geschiedenis krijgt een nieuw leven. Tectum Group staat in voor de renovatie en restauratie van de daken van het legendarische Hotel Métropole. In totaal gaat het om 3.000 m² platte daken, 1.000 m² hellende daken in zink en 500 m² hellende daken in natuurleien. The works, carried out in 2025-2026, combine authentic restoration techniques with contemporary waterproofing to preserve the historic character of the building and protect it for the future.
The former Anspach building, known for many years as the headquarters of bpost, will receive a thorough renovation and new use as a mixed-use project with offices, stores and hospitality.
Tectum Group was responsible for the renovation of the flat roofs, representing a total area of 24,350 m². For this purpose, 13,000 m² of BossCover EPDM and 11,350 m² of bituminous waterproofing were applied.
The works, carried out between 2024 and 2025, required precise planning and coordination within the busy Brussels city center.
