Project

Herfurth & Dries Van Noten

Flat roofs
Fall Protection

Sustainable design, sustainable implementation

The building consists of two separate units:

  • Approximately 4,000 m² of warehouse space and 800 m² of office space for Dries Van Noten
  • Approximately 9,000 m² of warehouse space with additional offices for Herfurth

The complex is designed entirely as a zero-emission building, with a focus on renewable energy, circular materials, and energy-efficient techniques. This requires not only a smart architectural vision, but also reliable partners in the implementation.

Our contribution: quality on the roof

Tectum Dekkers Hoboken was responsible for the complete roofing solution, including:

  • Flat roofing in EPDM – a durable and low-maintenance material with a long service life, perfectly in line with Montea's circular ambitions.
  • Fall protection – fully integrated into the roof design, with a view to safety during future maintenance and inspections.
Any future project on the horizon?
Let's build together

Commissioned by Montea, Tectum Dekkers Hoboken collaborated on the second phase of the sustainable business complex at the Blue Gate site in Antwerp. This innovative distribution building was custom-designed for two strong tenants: Dries Van Noten Group and Herfurth Group.

A building that thinks ahead

The roof solution is an integral part of the sustainable overall picture that Montea is creating here. Both Dries Van Noten and Herfurth can count on a functional, future-oriented, and energy-efficient building. Ready for intensive daily use and for the challenges of tomorrow.
