A well-thought-out renovation strategy

For the renovation, the most appropriate approach was determined for each building, based on the technical condition of the existing roof and the desired long-term performance.

A total of 6,717 m² of roof surface was completely renovated. The existing roof structure was removed and replaced with a new, high-performance structure featuring 120 mm of insulation. This extensive renovation results in a significant improvement in thermal performance and a lasting extension of the roofs’ service life.

In addition, 2,433 m² of roofing was renovated using a re-roofing method, supplemented with 40 mm of additional insulation. This solution offers an efficient way to improve energy performance, with a shorter construction timeline and minimal impact on the existing structure.

From Renovation to Roof Care

These roof renovations are part of a broader, structural approach within Dakzorg, the Tectum Group maintenance and management service. The buildings in question currently undergo annual maintenance and, where necessary, a thorough technical inspection.
