As part of the renovation of the Versailles neighborhood in Neder-over-Heembeek, Tectum Group renovate the roofs of several social housing buildings. This project is part of a sustainable upgrade of existing housing, with a focus on energy performance and forward-looking roofing solutions.

Tectum Group responsible for the entire new roof structure. A 150-mm-thick layer of PIR insulation was installed over the existing waterproofing, followed by a two-layer bituminous roof membrane. This structure ensures high-performance thermal insulation and durable waterproofing.

In addition, the roofs were finished with green roofs, ballast, and fall protection. This combination contributes to improved water management, extends the roof’s lifespan, and provides additional ecological benefits within the urban environment.

With a total area of approximately 4,000 m², Tectum Group implemented Tectum Group future-proof roofing solution on behalf of Le Logement Bruxellois, in collaboration with general contractor Socatra.
